Since last Monday we've been back home in Kpèdè, about 5 miles from Kandi, in the north of Benin. It's rainy season, and we have been enjoying the tropical rains.
Quand il ne pleut pas, il fait chaud, et on a profité du soleil pour aller nous ballader dans les champs derrière notre maison. Nous avons admiré le début de construction d'un nouveau collège non loin de notre maison.
When it's not rainy, there is plenty of hot sunshine, and so we have been out walking in the fields behind our house. There is a new secondary school being built not far from us.
